Our service enables boards and managers to communicate with homeowners through text messaging (SMS) and e-mail easily and at low cost.
We like to keep things simple. For homeowners, sign-up is simple and quick: each community is provided a sign-up code (which the HOA manager can pick), and homeowners use the code to sign up on our website. Contact information can be updated and subscription/unsubscription requests are handled through our website, through a homeowner's cell phone, or by email.
For managers, we provide access the our manager's portal, where you can send text and email messages to all or some of the homeowners in a community (for example, you can select to send a message about a water outage only to homeowners in buildings/units that are affected by the outage).
Some of the benefits of using ManagerAlerts.com:
a) longer text messages that other services (more characters than a standard SMS) b) attachments that are delivered as standard text messages (SMS) instead of using multimedia messages (MMS) (MMS can result in extra charges to homeowners, whereas our text alerts are delivered as standard text messages). c) we track message delivery and allow managers to cancel messages before they reach homeowners (great for those "oops!" moments) d) we handle tech support.
